CNY SoftWash Superstar: Trent Grisham singled, walked twice and scored a run from a leadoff spot in the order as the Yankees came from behind to top the Miami Marlins 9-7.

Fire Brothers Red Hot Performance: Max Fried got the opening-night starting pitching assignment for the Yankees in San Francisco and only allowed two hits in 6 1/3 innings on the way to a 7-0 victory.

F.W. Webb Winning Effort: Paul Blackburn offered 1 2/3 innings of crucial relief after David Weathers was pulled in the fourth inning to steady the trailing Yankees against Florida in a game it came back to win by a score of 9-7.

The Image Press Icon: Now one of the longest-tenured Yankees managers, Aaron Boone has done a tremendous job during the Yankees’ 7-1 start after some wondered if his job was in jeopardy after last season.

Little York Plantation Play of the Week: Ben Rice drilled a two-run double in the top of the third inning which proved the difference-maker for the Yankees as it won 3-1 at San Francisco and completed a sweep of the Giants.

Mabey’s Moving and Storage Major Mover: Jazz Chisholm Jr. sped his way to a double and scored a run in the Yankees’ home opener against the Miami Marlins which resulted in an 8-2 victory.

Mirbeau Inn and Spa Megastar: Doing what a superstar would do, Aaron Judge hit a two-run home run in the Yankees’ second game at San Francisco which spurred his team to a 3-0 shutout of the Giants.

M. Lemp Jewelers Rewarding Effort: Twice this season Fernando Cruz has recorded holds for the Yankees, doing so again late in its game against the Miami Marling which resulted in a 9-7 victory.

Mooney Marketing Group/Bristol 7 Enterprises Major Performance: David Weathers started on the mound for the Yankees in the series opener at Seattle and was very solid, going 4 1/3 innings and striking out eight even though the Mariners prevailed 2-1.

Nye Automotive Mark of Excellence: Ryan McMahon drilled a two-run single in the second inning to key a five-run rally in the Yankees’ season opener at San Francisco, an eventual 7-0 victory.

O’Hara Electric Electrifying Play: Paul Goldschmidt struck the game’s key blow with a three-run home run in the top of the sixth inning against the Seattle Mariners leading to a 5-3 victory and a series win, too.

Onondaga Flooring Outstanding Achievement: Even with so many other great performances in the American League season in 2025 Yankees captain Aaron Judge still was named the league’s Most Valuable Player.

Potter and Perrone Special Performance: Cody Bellinger singled twice, walked and scored a pair of runs all part of the Yankees’ third shutout of the season in Seattle as it blanked the Mariners 5-0.

Premier Hardwood Premier Player: Ben Rice continued to get big hits for the Yankees as his two-run home run offered further insurance in the Yankees’ home opener, an 8-2 win over the Miami Marlins.

Purcell Paints Prime Performer: Jake Bird threw 1 2/3 innings of relief in the series finale at San Francisco and got credit for the victory as the Yankees won 3-1 and swept the Giants.

Rockbridge Investment Management Risk Taker: Giancarlo Stanton, never known for his speed, stole a base for the first time since 2024 and raced home on a passed ball in the seventh inning of the Yankees’ eventual 9-7 win over the Miami Marlins.

University Sports Shop/Manny’s Major Moment: When the Yankees took its first two home games of the season over the Miami Marlins it improved to 7-1 overall, a start only matched in team history by the 7-1 start the team had way back in 1933.

U.S. Army Athlete of the Week: Aaron Judge proudly represented the United States in March’s World Baseball Classic, helping Team USA make it all the way to the championship game before it took a 3-2 defeat to Venezuela.

Wilkins RV Winning Player: Ben Rice helped push the Yankees past the Seattle Mariners 5-3 in the series finale by putting together a single and a double while driving in two runs.

Wonder Windows Winning Performance: Closer David Bednar took advantage of both save opportunities on consecutive nights in San Francisco to close out 3-0 and 3-1 victories over the Giants.
