Aaron Hicks ultimately saved the Yankees’ epic 14-12 victory over the Minnesota Twins on Tuesday night. Even with the Yankees up a pair of runs after all the twists and turns of the evening, the Twins had loaded the bases in the bottom of the 10th inning with a trio of walks. With two outs, Max Kepler sent a drive to left-center field. Hicks chased after it, dove and made the catch to end the game. If that ball drops, all the runners score and the Twins win the series. Instead, the Yankees took two out of three thanks to Hicks’ clutch catch.
